Consider yourself lucky... All my old roommate's dog did when I came home was emit "beagle scream", and then shed some more.

Also, occasionally shit on the floor. And let's not forget snatch food off of your plate when you turned your head and knock over garbage cans to consume EVERYTHING while we were at work.
